Giggle + Grow
Giggle + Grow is run by Blanca Sobhan, an in-home and virtual Montessori guide. Her goal is to help young children find joy in learning while succeeding at home in day-to-day activities using the Montessori method. Blanca had built the first draft of her site, but came to me feeling stuck since her site wasn’t conveying the calm, playful, and yet professional message that she hoped to communicate with parents.

Our goal was to completely transform her website with a visual aesthetic and layout that clearly communicated her services and piqued the interest of potential clients. It had to feel warm, inviting, clean, and child-friendly while also showcasing aspects of Blanca’s own personality and approach to build the level of trust required for a family to invite someone new into their home.
The first step in the web redesign process involved a thorough audit on the visual aesthetic, content, and user experience of her existing site. After carefully reviewing all of the content and conducting further research on her industry, we rewrote some of the content, reorganized the site map/layout, and clearly identified her site objectives and the primary CTAs we wanted to direct site visitors to.
Next, I presented updated copy and wireframes using Giggle + Grow’s existing branding. We then gathered all of the image assets we would need and I began building out the new draft of the site! I really wanted to mirror the clean, minimalist, and intuitive feel of Montessori spaces in the ultimate look of this new site. This means the new site is spacious with lots of open space and breathability; friendly, highly-saturated imagery featuring young children engaging in Montessori activities; bright, child-like icons; and clearly articulates nuanced information in an easily digestible manner.
