Souki Fournier
Souki Fournier is a digital marketing consultant whose mission is to help businesses create consistent and relevant content that works for them and serves them. In addition to her one-on-one client work, Souki realized earlier this year that she loves providing free resources to people who need her services but are not ready to financially commit. So she decided it was time to rebrand her business’ online presence and pivot toward a personal branding style.

That’s where I got to come in! My goal was to capture Souki’s energy, passion, and joy through her new visual brand identity. She wanted her brand to feel bright, refreshing, welcoming, and classy, while still maintaining a somewhat boutique feel without it looking too expensive in a way that scares people.
So we decided to go with a gorgeous, feminine serif font for her primary logo, pairing it with a fun handwritten script for her decorative font and a wide sans-serif font for her body text. I played with a variety of alternative logos for her to use throughout her branding and developed a unique diamond-shaped watermark inspired by patterns found in Souki’s favorite picture of herself on her website. Her color palette was also inspired by the same picture, where I’ve brought out the rich pink shades and aegean blue as well as using playful gradients to contrast against the clean, open white space throughout her website.
With her new branding guidelines, we’ve been working on a variety of designs for her brand, such as social media templates, a proposal template, and cover art for her new podcast, “Content Marketing Explained with Souki Fournier.”
It’s not everyday that you get to work with a client who exudes so much warmth and joy while also completely trusting the creative process. Souki was thrilled with her new brand identity and is beyond excited to see how gorgeous her new logos will look on a pop socket or a yeti tumbler!
